The Carmelites are called to renew themselves, as brothers in dialogue with one another, open to the signs of the times – and therefore to all people – welcoming those who are involved in their ministry, especially the young and the poor. They are also open to developing new forms of community and new ministries, that they may have a decisive impact on the Church and on society, inviting all people to conversion. Community life, lived in the spirit of Elijah and under the protection of Mary, Mother of God and our Sister, is thus the expression and the test of their fraternal love.
