He was born on 27 December 1953. He joined the Indonesian Province of Carmelite Order on 15 October 1973. He said his simple profession on 15 January 1976 and his solemn profession on 18 January 1981. He was ordained at the Cathedral of Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel – Malang, Indonesia on 7 February 1972. His first assignment was as the bursar of the diocese of Malang. He ran the office from 9 March 1982 to 15 May 1999. During his work as the bursar of the diocese, he also worked as the head of the office of fund-raising for social and health care of the province (from 27 July 1982), as a member of Carmelite spirituality team (1991-1993), and as one of the board directors of Sancta Maria foundation (1997-1999). He, then, moved to Jakarta and was assigned as the head of the Monetary Department of the Indonesian Bishop Conference (2000-2003). In 2004 he focused on the fundraising of the Province while in 2005 he was asked again to become the head of the Monetary Department of the Indonesian Bishop Conference. In 2009 – 2012, he became one of the members of the Provincial Council and fund-raiser for the province. In the provincial chapter of 2012 he was re-elected to become the member of Provincial Council but on 15 December 2013 he resigned from the post due to his illness. He experienced a long treatment for his cancer and passed away in Singapore on 2 October 2015. His body was brought to Malang and buried there. May he rest in peace.
