The Carmelite monastery of Blessed Angelo Paoli, known also as the House of the Indonesian Carmelite NGO, is located on the Jalan Mahameru VE 4 no. 7 Malang, Indonesia. The location is not far from the Catholic Church of St. Andrew Malang which is run by the Carmelites. The monastery was blessed on February 5, 2008 by Fr. Heribertus Heru Purwanto, O.Carm., the Prior provincial of that time. The monastery also functions as the office of the Indonesian Carmelite NGO.

From 2008-2015, the Carmelite Monastery of Blessed Angelo Paoli served as the residence for students who were taken care by the Indonesian Carmelite NGO Indonesia. The students came from Nias island in North Sumatera. They were brought to Malang to study in the Catholic University in Malang. Most of them studied at the department of Food Technology of the Faculty of Agriculture and some others at the department of Management of the Faculty of Economics. After finishing their study, they had to come back to the homeland and work to build their people and area. The Carmelites who had been living in the house and accompanying the students are Fr. Antonius Wahyu Anggono O.Carm. (2008-2009), Fr. Albertus Medyanto O.Carm. (2009-2012), and Fr. Yohanes Radik Suryawan O.Carm. (2012-2015).

At this time the permanent resident the Carmelite monastery of Blessed Angelo Paoli are Fr. Yohanes Radik Suryawan O.Carm., Fr. F.X. Hariawan Adji O.Carm. and Fr. Patricius Marianus Simanjutak O.Carm. Though they live in the house, they work at and become the members of the Provincial House’s community (the Carmelite Monastery of Saint Albert of Trapani – Jalan Talang no. 3 Malang, Indonesia).
